Excursions Camps and Trips

A wide range of external activities are organized for students to enrich their learning experience and to provide them with the opportunity to visit other places. They include year level activities and overseas trips.

Year 7

Orientation Camp is held in Term 1 each year.  This year they visited camp Camp Rumbug.

As part of Our Fantastic Futures students visit Number Works during Term 2

Year 8

Surfing is part of the My Personal Best Program.

Students have an excursion to the Zoo and as part of the End of Year activities go to Luna Park

Year 9

The Urban Experience gives all students the opportunity to explore Melbourne. They visit
Melbourne Central, MCG, Eureka Tower, and the Dandenongs

Year 10 & 11

Students have a number of subject based excursions such as Careers Exhibition and biology excursions.

Their major camp varies but could be to Central Australia as it is this year.

Year 12

First week back all students attend a Study Skills Seminar for 2-3 days.
Challenging activities, sport, relaxation, study skills and career exploration are some of the activities undertaken.

G'Day USA - Years 9 - 12

Every 2nd year during the Christmas Holidays, a group of about 12 students visit America. Students stay with American families for a few days and also visit Disneyland

World Challenge  Years 9 - 12

This is available every second year. The first trip was to Vietnam and the current trip being planned is to Borneo. As part of the trip students undertake a hike and also participate in a community program.
